Children are unique and special and are always respected and their voice listened too. Children are encouraged to use their voice and are guided by loyal and dedicated staff in showing respect and tolerance towards others.

Footsteps operates an inclusive practice and all children and their families are warmly welcomed to the setting. Staff nurture the holistic needs of every child, recognising that they are all unique and special in their own way. Footsteps operates an “Open door policy” and there is always a member of management available to discuss in a confidential manner any areas of concern.

The settings strive to improve on practice through the dedication of the staff teams who show compassion towards all children and their families creating a stimulating environment where all children feel safe and happy and can flourish. Staff provide an excellent range of learning opportunities and activities and have an exceptional understanding of each child’s learning style.

Footsteps prides itself on maintaining excellent partnership working with parents. Parents have often commented on the dedicated and committed staff team and satisfaction or exit questionnaires are disseminated at various times throughout the year to gain feedback for improvements or of particular successes. Through close partnerships with parents children can be supported whilst in the setting, as well as at home, creating solid and trusting foundations for children.
